If I die before I wake podcast. Live awake. Act with care. Shape what comes after you.
The Practice

Why This Exists

We live in a world that rewards distraction. This is not a podcast about escape. It’s about responsibility — for your body, your habits, your values, the example you set, what you put out into the world, and what you pass on to the next generation.

We explore love vs hate, anger vs peace, what is considered good vs what is considered evil, addiction, resilience, meaning in hardship, and emotional, spiritual, and physical health. We look at these from the perspectives of science, personal spirituality, various belief systems, and multiple religions- from atheism to Christianity. The goal is not perfection, but presence: to notice how you’re living today, not what you intend to do tomorrow.

This exists in hopes of providing regular uplifting and inspiring messages to feed your soul regardless of beliefs. To encourage living in a way that contributes to a more compassionate society where the energy of love flows. In this, individuals become more at peace and filled with content and joy, while in turn, the world becomes a better place.

If tomorrow is not guaranteed, then today must be lived with care.

About

Mission Statement

If I Die B4 I Wake exists to explore what it means to live awake — with integrity, intention, self-discipline, and responsibility — as parents, mentors, and individuals whose lives shape others by example.

This podcast is a space for those who choose awareness over numbness and purpose over complacency, in a world that often rewards excess and finds comfort in distraction. We believe how we live matters more than what we claim to believe. Awareness is a daily practice. Children, communities, and future generations learn less from what we say and more from who we are. Legacy is built in ordinary moments, long before the end of life.

We host honest conversations about values, accountability, personal growth, and the moral weight of our choices — across belief systems, cultures, and lived experiences. We reject perfection and performative virtue in favor of reflection, restraint, discipline, and conscious action.

We examine how to live meaningfully amid struggle, temptation, and hardship — choosing clarity over escape, growth over indulgence, and purpose over comfort. We speak openly about health, addiction, resilience, and the quiet daily decisions that shape character and direction and determine who we become.

We do not promise ease. We do not offer shortcuts. We believe fulfillment is forged through effort, reflection, courage, and restraint — and that happiness is not the absence of trials, but the willingness to meet them awake.

If tomorrow is not guaranteed, then today must be lived with care.

Listener Covenant

Listening here asks for presence, honesty, and responsibility — perpetual agreement is not required. What matters most is not what resonates while listening, but what changes afterward.

This is not a space for passive consumption.
Listen as participants responsible for your own lives.

Take responsibility for what resonates — and what resists.
If something unsettles you, ask why before you reject it.

Reject numbness and performative virtue.
Value reflection over reaction, effort over ideology, and lived integrity over performance.

Sit with discomfort without rushing to judgment,
defense, or certainty.
Growth may challenge habits, beliefs, or identities.

Value accountability over ideology. Remember that
integrity is practiced privately, not performed publicly.

Respect difference while maintaining discernment.
No one here is an authority over your life.

And above all, agree to live awake —
knowing that how we live today will be our legacy.
